Connex Echo Turbo Board
Echo Boards can be installed in most radios that do not come with any type of echo board. Contrary to popular belief, Connex boards do not increase the output modulation in properly tuned radios! The echo board does allow a radio to produce an echo and reverb effect. Used properly, the echo can give a radio deeper richer audio for broadcast. Used in conjunction with an Astatic or Roadking microphone, the output audio can be virtually studio quality! The echo board is installed inside the radio with a dual control mounted on the outside to adjust the amount of echo and the echo speed. The control can often be put in place of an existing control on most radios or can be put on the side or back of the radio if a suitable control is not available.

Noise Toy PP1-(Internal module)
The single noise toy is a 20 second recordable module that is installed into the radio. This noise toy activates whenever the PB switch is pushed. Select jokes, music, movie clips, TV bits, anything on cassette, CD or computer wave file can be put on the recordable toy up to 20 seconds or select from our list of toys. The module can have new items recorded onto the module and replace the old with new.

The outer copper shielding resembles the steel casing of a metal mic cord. It is stiffer than regular co-axial cable and has a minimal bend radius of one inch. The optimal life span is approximately 36-48 months before it should be replaced. Nominal usable life can be much greater before it has to be replaced. All PL-259 fittings on Heli-ax are Silver with Gold plated tips.
